Oh My!

O how I've missed writing on here!
It has been so long, since I've posted on the this blog. And i think it is time for me to come back. Now the blog will be about my adorable little fashionista. Who loves modeling her clothes and doing all things girly. But who also loves to play rough and dirty. Collins Avery AKA Little Red, is now two and a little firecracker. and I love her to death. I Don't know where i would be without her and my amazing Mother.

Craft Month

For the month of April i have decided to make a new craft everyday. My goal is to fully finish a project in a day. So i have chosen 30 different DIY that i feel i can accomplish it and finish it in a day. I have chosen electronic and actual crafts. since April is a month of birthdays in our family and Friday starts off with my moms birthday. I ordered a great birthday card for her from shutterfly, which i will post a picture of it on Friday. I hope this keeps me occupied and becomes a great way to relieve stress. 

I also am proud to say that i have started working out and building my core strength and endurance. and i feel really good. now i know why people get addicted to working out.

Fliying

I am so excited to be going back to Maryland for a couple of weeks. I can't wait to be with loving family and friends. I miss everyone so much, and I mainly miss being in DC. I miss having the support of friends and family when you need it most. 

Well Collins and I will be flying this time instead of riving, and i am a bit nervous. I have no idea how she is going to deal with it. I have an hour layover in Detroit and I have to switch planes, so i am nervous about that. I just hope everything goes smoothly and especially now with this snow its making me a little worried. I flew last year when i was pregnant and I remember freaking out about it. the last time i was on a plane was when i came to America in 2000 and i really don't remember how that trip went other than my brother Daniel taking up half my seat to sleep. So please pray for me hoping everything will go smoothly. And if you have any tips for me please let me know.

Birthday Party

We had a blast at Collins' Ohio Birthday Party. I am so thankful to everyone that made it out, i really appreciate it. I know Collins enjoyed playing and loved her new toys. She did not get fussy through out the party, which i was very happy about because she did not want to take a nap that afternoon. She was also a lady when it came to the cake. She did not want to destroy, didn't want to even touch it. It was like she was scared of it, it was the cutest thing. So everyone got to eat the cake instead.

Pot Pie

I made pot pie for dinner tonight. it seems to be one of Collins favorite meal and mine as well. But the little one will not let me feed it to her, she has to feed her self. a good friend of mine made a really good one on New Years and I wanted to try to make one for the first time. i thought it turned out pretty good. and the critics thought so to, especially the little one.

Birthday Party

The madness begin. Collins Ohio Birthday Party is this Saturday. and I am a little overwhelmed with it all. This will be the first party that i have thrown by myself, without my amazing Momma. Usually we are both in it together.


 Tonight i am starting to work on the decorations. here is a picture where i am getting my inspiration from. I love pinterest and thanks to it, i have gotten a lot of ideas for the party. John likes to say that i get over stimulation from that site. I don't know if i fully agree with it, but i do tend to spend to much time on that site.

My little toddler

I now consider Collins a mini toddler. Even though she will always be a baby in my eyes, the little munchkin can now walk, run, and say a couple of different words. 

She says MaMa, DaDa, VoVo which is grandma in Portuguese. And she also says Ba for both ball and her sippy. 

 She is such a little joy to be around these days, as much as clingy as she is with me, i still love being around her. everyday she is learning something new. Like today she found her belly button. and now she keeps lifting up her shirt and playing with it, it is the cutest thing in the world. I love my little one and we can't wait to go home to Maryland this weekend, and spend some quality time with an amazing family and friends.
